Welcome to B&B Terre Dipinte

The Bad and Breakfast is located in the heart of the old part of the city, in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), and consists of three rooms named after the colors mentioned by Salerno poet Alfonso Gatto in his poem "Viaggio per Terre Dipinte."

The common area

In the common area, guests can enjoy a coffee pod machine, a kettle for tea and herbal teas, offered free of charge along with coffee, and a small electric food-warming oven.

The rooms

All rooms overlook the characteristic medieval alleys typical of the city's historic center, are bright and equipped with the essentials for a good stay. Each room has its own private bathroom with shower and bidet and is complete with bed linen and bath towels. It is also equipped with a hair dryer and body soap set

The atmosphere of the Terre Dipinte B&B is as frank and sincere as the historic center that houses the facility; the colorful painted walls convey a sense of lightness and joy typical of vacation homes.

Your Host

Welcoming you will be Marco, host of the property, who will be able to advise you on how to get around, places to visit, what and where to eat, and different experiences to enjoy, thus making your stay unforgettable.

About Us

The room was really large, there were all the necessary amenities (especially the air conditioner), and the bed was really comfortable. Also, the bathroom was very nice.
The area is perfect because it is located in the
Salerno's most beautiful downtown area and it is very close to the sea and the clubs.

The Terre dipinte B&B made me, first of all, feel at home. Marco, a sensational host, gave us very useful tips for visiting Salerno and the Coast (the B&B is only five minutes from the ferry and bus departure point) and on the last day he offered in person to take us around the little towns that we had not made time to see by public transportation. If the days on the Coast were so magical, credit is also due to Marco and his little retreat painted in the colors of the sea.

Great location, downtown but quiet.
Marco was very kind and helpful in giving advice.

Strategic location for visiting the historic center of Salerno and the Luci d'artista, we arrived in Salerno by train and it was a pleasant walk from the station even though otherwise young. Excellent cleanliness, the rooms are beautiful exactly as seen in the photos, Marco was most gracious in his welcome, even handling breakfast perfectly for those who are lactose intolerant, which might seem obvious, but is not. The stay was truly enjoyable, if very quick. See you next time!

The owner is an exquisite person, always ready to give advice on what to visit and how to make the stay more enjoyable. We forgot a piece of luggage on the way out and he was very prompt in making arrangements with us to have it shipped back. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. The location is central but not far from the paid parking lots outside the ZTL. There is also an underground parking lot 8 minutes walk away for those who don't want to leave their cars on the street: Freedom Parking. It is a bit expensive, but there is no shortage of alternatives.
